This course introduces the learner essential concepts for film directing, guides you through the process of developing your own ideas and points you in the right direction to make your first film.
Students learn shot selection, camera angles, the rules of filmmaking such as compositions , visual storytelling and working with actors. Students will be taught how to communicate their directorial vision clearly to cast and crew .
Students will discover the works of some of history’s greatest Directors.
This course will help you understand the film directors’ process through practical exercises.
You will get an overview of the script writing process .
You will workshop ideas around how to approach working with actors and cinematography and film editing so that you can better collaborate with other creatives.
The course will lead up to a class presentation of your film idea and share the support material you have created .
